Covid 19 shocked the world. A virus affected the whole world like it had never done before. Most of us were stunned. While we watched the phases unfold, it also gave us time to think and reflect.

We all know we now face a world filled with volatility, uncertainty, complexity and ambiguity. This environment requires us all to have deep and insightful understanding of the diverse issues facing us, greater clarity of ourselves and have the ability to navigate our choices.

How can transformative coaching help?

Transformative coaching helps people tap into their inner purpose and passion, and connect that with actions to create extraordinary and sustainable results.

One of the essential features of transformative coaching is that it accepts you as being whole, creative and resourceful, and it simply empowers you by deepening your awareness of the issues, understanding of your values, and who you are at your core.

This process is exceptionally valuable because it creates inner strength through self-awareness.

In the past we went through leadership training that taught us to deal with situations or circumstances. For example, we were trained to deal with difficult people, change management and improving technical skills. Coaching, however, takes one on a different path where you transcend your thinking style from horizontal learning (the technical, tactical and transactional) to reflective learning. This transforms the way you think. It transforms from solutions to heightening awareness to create a deeper understanding of the self and the issue.

The other aspect of transformative coaching is that it gives you an opportunity to talk about what is sitting behind your thinking. In coaching, the client will have an opportunity to talk about the experience rather than the situation. This helps the client understand the deeper issues that they may not have been aware of, until they start to talk about it.

The fast pace at which people need to respond to situations, naturally makes them fall into a reactive mode as a default way of operating. When you undergo transformative coaching, you not only develop your inner understanding, but you can take that different way of thinking into your everyday working life.

Transformative coaching helps you to think, feel and make sense of the world.
